On top of that,

Isn't This an Oxymoron?

What Be Your Nerd Type?
Your Result: Social Nerd

You're interested in things such as politics, psychology, child care, and peace. I wouldn't go so far as to call you a hippie, but some of you may be tree-huggers. You're the type of people who are interested in bettering the world. You're possible the least nerdy of them all; unless you participate in other activies that paled your nerdiness compared to your involvement in social activities. Whatever the case, we could still use more of you around.  ^_^

GeekmoiThe truth of the matter is that I like a bit of everything except gaming. Never been a big gamer, except for simple stuff like Tetris and Snood. I'm too impatient. And the child-care thing? Not so much, unless you count teaching, and even that's at the college level. My one stint of middle school subbing nearly killed me. But yeah, the old hippie thing? That's been a thwarted desire for a long time. The "how many books have you read in your lifetime?" question made me laugh. The highest selection was 60+, which is less than I read in a year, I'd guess. No wonder I have no room on my shelves. What makes me a drama nerd is that I've been in plays (strictly student/amateur) and I love theatre (half my friends in college were drama geeks). More science than math nerd, with a lifelong interest in biology and astronomy. Artistic nerd? Uh, my tagline? Fiction, Poetry, Artist's Books, General Mischief? You think? Musician: only a little. I dabble with guitar, flute and penny whistle, none of them well. And though I'm not a gamer, I spend an inordinate amount of time on my computer, writing, surfing, blogging, Photoshopping, doing layout, so I think I have the chops for computer nerd. And the Anime thing is very light, though I could see how I'd get sucked into it. I love webcomics (comics in general) and animated cartoons. So I'd call myself more of an all-around nerd than a social nerd.

Anyway, one more thing to distract me from my cold, which has now, drat, moved into my chest. Blargh indeed.
