On my way up to a seminar at the Roosevelt Hotel, I ran into this
little art drama on the sidewalk. It's not as much fun as sitting in a restaurant and watching a giant lounging woman drive by on the back of a flatbed, with two construction workers in hardhats sitting on her, but it's pretty good. It hove into view one claw at a time as I was heading toward Grand Central. I think the sculptor was discussing with the movers how to brace it or get it off the truck or something along those lines. And I have no idea what the sculpture's all about. It's two too many horses to be Saint George or Lord of the Rings or The Hobbit, so who knows? More pics of this and Grand Central Terminal at Flee's New York.
