What I'm not getting enough of right now. It's been a grueling two weeks, and it ain't over yet. Lots of overtime, a couple of ten-hour days, and now weekend work. Of course, Jen's up this weekend, and I'd really hoped to see her, and I'll probably be absolutely incoherent by Sunday, dammit. On the other hand, this is going to be one big, fat paycheck to spend on furniture and paint. And I got my memory foam mattress pad today, which is even now lying on top of my luscious bed, trying to forget what it was like to be tightly rolled up in a plastic bag. And poor Em must think I hate her because she's called several times this week and I've been too fried to talk. I was thinking of her last night when I treated myself to a bento box at Mishima in which the teriyaki salmon was good but the spicy tuna roll was just . . . boggling. Mishima: Lexington between 29th & 30th. Down two steps from the street. Tiny. Don't miss it.
And now I'm going to go encourage my memory foam to remember something else, like the shape of me, on top of it. If only that were as salacious as it sounds.
I am glad you're just busy and not ill/despairing/in jail/etc.
I was thinking of you because I was watching the new Battlestar Galactica, until I decided it was too much about the fighter jets and the girls' wiggly butts.
