Actually, it's the 17th Annual Independent & Small Press Book Fair Saturday,
Saturday December 4, 10am to 6pm—Sunday, December 5th, 11am to 5pm
Held at the Small Press Center, 20 West 44th Street in New York City in the landmark General Society of Mechanics and Tradesmen building in midtown Manhattan. The Fair is organized by the Small Press Center, a New York-based nonprofit devoted to assisting small and independent publishers (the Center is an educational program of the General Society). With nearly 100 small and indie presses exhibiting in person, and another fifty sending their titles to be sold cooperatively, the Fair's exceptional selection includes the most notable and distinctive books being produced in contemporary publishing.
Go. It's fun, and great for anyone who loves books. Stone Street Press is always there, and always has something beautiful. Lots of freebies and usually something exquisite to be had. Certainly, you'll see stuff you'll never see in Barnes & Noble or Borders. Go.
